Terms of Service.

By using emphasistattoo.com and the services of Emphasis Tattoo LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Age requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed at Emphasis Tattoo. We will ask for a valid government-issued photo ID at every appointment. Florida state law prohibits us from tattooing anyone under 18 — no parental consent workaround.

Booking, deposits, and rescheduling

Booking requests submitted through this site are inquiries — not confirmed appointments. We will follow up to confirm pricing, deposit, and date. A non-refundable deposit secures your appointment and is applied to the cost of the tattoo.

Reschedules made with at least 48 hours' notice carry the deposit forward to the new date. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, and arriving more than 30 minutes late forfeit the deposit. Repeat reschedules may require a new deposit.

Pricing

Tattoo pricing is determined by the artist based on size, placement, complexity, color, and time required. We have a shop minimum. Quotes are good faith estimates — final pricing may adjust if scope changes during the session.

Aftercare and touch-ups

You're responsible for following the aftercare instructions your artist provides. Free touch-ups are offered within 60 days of the original session, provided aftercare was followed. Tattoos placed on hands, feet, ribs, and other high-wear locations may require paid touch-ups due to natural fading.

Photography and portfolio use

We may photograph completed tattoos for our portfolio, social media, and website. If you'd prefer your tattoo not be shared publicly, tell your artist before the session begins and we'll respect that.

Medical disclosures

You agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin conditions that could affect the tattoo process or healing. We reserve the right to decline service if a medical issue puts you or our team at risk.

Conduct in the shop

We don't tattoo anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We don't tattoo gang symbols, hate symbols, or anything we find ethically objectionable. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

SMS communications

When you opt in to SMS at the booking form, you consent to receive appointment-related and occasional marketing texts from us. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Site content

All photography, design, and content on this site is the property of Emphasis Tattoo LLC and the respective artists. Don't reuse our work without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emphasis Tattoo LLC's liability arising from your use of this site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted to this page.
