Yes — when an artist has open availability that day. Booking guarantees the artist and time you want; walk-ins are first-come, first-serve and depend on the schedule that day.

It depends on size, placement, detail, and which artist is doing it. Most artists work on an hourly rate with a shop minimum. Add your budget to the booking form and the artist will quote the piece directly.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit holds your appointment and gets applied to the final cost of the tattoo. Reschedules with 48 hours' notice carry the deposit to the new date. No-shows and last-minute cancels forfeit the deposit.

Yes — cover-ups are a specialty. Note it on the booking form (there's a dedicated field) and include a photo of the existing tattoo. Cover-ups often need a consultation before the session.

You have to be 18 or older to get tattooed at Emphasis. No exceptions, no parental consent workaround. Florida state law.

Eat a real meal, hydrate, get a full night's sleep, don't drink the night before. Wear clothes that give the artist easy access to the area being tattooed. Bring a phone charger and snacks if you've got a long session.

Your artist will walk you through aftercare in person — what to use, what to avoid, and how long it takes to heal. We're available by text or email if anything looks off during the heal.

Yes — touch-ups on pieces we did at Emphasis are free within 60 days, as long as you followed the aftercare. Bring it back if anything fades or drops out and we'll fix it.
